About Us

Custom D3sign is a one person shop operating in the suburbs of Detroit Michigan.  I have been a design engineer for over 30 years in the automotive business.  I started making 3D printed parts for myself and friends on plastic parts for boats and homes that could not be found for purchase.  I then decided to start making my own unique designed shot trays for friends with their boat names on them.  After a few friends said I should sell them, that's when the idea for Custom D3sign came about.  I started coming up with unique designs that would put a smile on my customers faces.  I also wanted to create designs that could show someones personality or their support for what they believe in.  Stay tuned for more unique designs as my business gets bigger.
